Healthy competition
The competitive world
that we inhabit today has affected the attitude of even parents and teachers
who constantly compare their children and students with others. The habit of
toxic comparison with acquaintances must end. Teachers and parents should include
a feeling of self-worth in children rather than an inferiority complex.
As Denis Waitley said,
“Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is something we can
avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing”.
