International women's day and Baloch women
International women's day is observed every year on March 8, highlighting the achievements and problems faced by women. This day is global celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
Women
have equal rights in society. That has a massive role to play for the progress
of their nation. As Quraan says, "And among God's signs in this: He
created for you mates from amongst yourselves (males for females and vice
versa) that you might find tranquility and peace in them. And he has put love
and kindness among you. Herein surely are signs for those who
reflect."
In the Baloch society, a
woman has equal rights and social status as compared to a man. Baloch women
have played a vital role in their fields, their decisions inspired the whole
society, even in everyday life and Baloch women. Have held power to make
decisions.
In the field of poetry, music
composing, and singing, there have been notable Baloch women. Including Gohar
Malik, Rabia Khuzdari, Banul Dashtiaari, Aamna Tothi, Sharifa Saothi, and so
on. These women were highly skilled in their fields and played an effective
role during their lifetimes.
During Chakar-e- Azam's period his
sister Banari commanded a battalion towards India and participated in the
battle of Pani Path.
In the mid o7th century, Mai Chagli ruled
Lasbela, she belonged to the Burfath tribe of Baloch. She ruled Lasbela for
decades and didn't pay any tax to the khan of Kalatthe.
In the western part of
Balochistan, Dad Shah and his supporters took up arms against Iranian ruler
Reza shah pahlavi them his sister Naaz Bibi also took in the war. She fought
and part the anticipated in the war against Raza shah pahlavi's army. These are
historical resemblances.
In recent history, the brave daughter
of Balochistan Karima Watanh (LimmWatan) has saved her name in Baloch history
by sacrificing herself for her motherland. In the same way, Horan Baloch,
comrade Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Haseeba Qambrani, and Sami Baloch stand in front of
any injustice which will occur with their nation. They are proving that Baloch
women are not less than men.
