Two policies to live a purposeful life:
Eudemonia and arête
The most challenging question circulating in our mind is how to
spend our life. I think the term eudemonia is beyond the meaning of the
so-called happiness which is just called a feeling or maybe a satisfaction that
can be impermanent. This word expresses the true picture of life, which is telling all of us that everyone must have an aim in our life that needs our full potential in achieving the goal we have chosen. Our
objective must be based on one direction because different directions matter
which can easily shatter anyone. Moreover, life without an aim is too dark,
said Napoleon Hill.
Adding that arête was also a misleading term written by
some scholars. Its actual meaning was not excellence or skill, but both courage
and generosity one's moral character must have, said Aristotle. Everyone should
follow one path or direction if one wants to accomplish one's goal. Ali Baba
was an instance for all over the world because he was the one who was very
curious to obtain his motive. He was the one who learned motivation from
rejections, but today he is the owner of Ali Baba company which is online
serving everyone very conveniently around the globe. To succeed in one's life
of course needs both courage and generosity with an unbreakable aim.
Life is had only for one time let's do something that our
character will be remembered forever because action represents the character. Let's
choose a career that pursues one direction to seek our destination more nearly.
The above-given words are not only words for us, but also two manners for us
how to spend our life both correctly and purposefully.
In conclusion, people of this generation always want a
fulfilled life which means they will enjoy it by earning money, reputation, and
position. Carrying all these does not prolong; they are temporary because money
is not the ultimate goal of life rather we should struggle to have a worthwhile
life that doesn't take place because of money and so forth. We should also learn the lessons and history
of great personalities who contributed something to this planet. Finally, we
should brighten our life by having both policies and not confusion.
