How to Win Friends and Influence People?

How to Win Friends and Influence People is a book which was written by Dale Carnegie who is a prominent writer of the world. It got published in 1936. Myriad of people are interested to read this book because it is having too many life-changing principles. This book has a great contribution to my life due to which I am grateful to Dale Carnegie. This book tells us how to gain the attention of numerous people who are around you. Further, it tells us some techniques for handling people. It seems to me that you can attract people by acting on those principles which are given in this book.

The most important principle that I have to learn from this book is that always try to praise other people. People are waiting for listening to their admiration. You can come closer to every individual by praising. When you start praising them then they start taking interest in you. This principle can help you easily for making many friends.

The book goes into detail about the given title. Don’t criticize, condemn or complain. “How to Win Friends and Influence People," tells us to never criticize anyone and treat them with love instead of criticism. If you criticize others, then there will come a time when everyone will be angry with you and everyone will run away from you. Even if someone makes a mistake, it is better to explain it to them with love than to criticize them. Everybody fixes themselves in front of the mirror for hours so that they become the center of attention the people. If you give them importance, then surely they will come very close to you. further, the writer suggests we avoid arguments. According to Carnegie, we must not debate with others because it can affect our personality.

Another principle I like about this book is to always smile. A smile is something that makes another person smile too. Doing so will make people crazy about you and they will smile whenever they meet you and they will not have any difficulty talking.

Carnegie says people are fond of listening to their names so always call them by their name because everyone loves their name. Also, Carnegie says always try to listen to other people. Take an interest. If you listen to them, they will sympathize with you and they will tell you all their secrets about themselves. Always talk to people about their favorite subjects instead of your own.

It is me believe that if you are looking for a life-changing book then you must read this book once. After reading this book you will know what habits and principles you can adopt to establish a good relationship with the people around you.
