The crisis is having a negative impact on the economy and the lives of ordinary Pakistanis. Pakistan is a country with no sufficient power as its power is generated through thermal power plants which is another problem for getting fuel to generate electricity and it pollutes the environment. The power distribution network in Pakistan is poorly maintained.

This has led to losses of up to 25% of electricity during transmission and distribution. Apart from this, the energy crisis has had a great impact on economic growth as most of the businesses are operated through electricity to produce their products or promote business but it is a menace that the energy crisis has dragged Pakistan into crisis. The energy crisis has also led to health problems. People are spending more time in the dark, which has led to an increase in respiratory problems. The lack of access to clean water has also led to an increase in waterborne diseases. The government should be taking such serious steps to ensure public demands.
