Brain drain is a problematic conflict in Pakistan. According to data from the World Bank, around 5 million highly skilled Pakistanis have migrated to other countries. This has resulted in a heavy loss of talent and expertise in key sectors like healthcare, engineering, and technology. Their impact is felt in terms of economic growth and development.

Additionally, a study by the IMF estimated that brain drain costs Pakistan around 2 billion annually. It’s crucial for Pakistan to address this issue by creating better job opportunities, investing in education research, and implementing policies to retain and attract skilled professionals. By doing so Pakistan can harness the potential of its talented individuals and drive sustainable development.
