The newly established government failed to fulfill the demands of the Gwadar protest. However, The CM of Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Minister of Planning & Development Zahoor Buledi had many meetings with the protesters, but those meetings had no fruitful dialogues. Are their demands; to ban the illegal Chinese trawlers, unnecessary check posts, water, and power provision, easing of the border trade with Iran, and providing jobs is beyond governmental power? In Addition, fishing is the only source for living a livelihood for them. Despite this, thousands of unregulated fishing trawlers use genocidal nets whipping out entire marine resources leaving hunger and poverty for local fishermen.

CPEC, on the other hand, has failed to produce jobs for the city’s public. Pakistani officials predict that CPEC would result in the creation of upwards of 2.3 million jobs between 2015 and 2030, and add 2 to 2.5 percentage points to the country's annual economic growth. Nonetheless, 97 % of people are jobless in the port city.

In fact, the current provincial government had announced the implementation of easing the border trade and decreasing the checkpoints and banning illegal fishing ( trawlers) after they gained power, but almost a month and a half later his statements were not implemented at all and as always they turned out to be just fake promises. Lastly, the government should fulfill the demands of protesters although this newly established government become failed to satisfy the people of Balochistan.
