K2 is known as the second-highest mountain in the world at 8,611 meters. It is also called mount Godwin-Austen or Chogori. However, K2 is part of the Kara Koram range.

         Besides this, researchers call it the savage mountain as it is very hard to climb. It was researched that it is harder to climb than Mount Everest. K2 has the second-highest fatality rate among the eight thousand meter mountain in 2011.

         Resultantly, three hundred people became successful to climb up to the top of it and eighty people died trying to climb.

          Thus, no one can climb it during the winter season.
