A travelogue from Kech to Gwadar

It is said that life is a journey in which people are in travel. Sometimes it meets with gladness and sometimes it leads to anxiety and depression. Life does not stay one way, and it always moves onwards.

Indeed, the creatures cannot pass their lives at one place and to move from one place to another place to change the mood to get refreshment.

On the other side, we cannot learn everything from school. Rather, we learn several things through meeting and communicating different sorts of cultural people, which help us learn one another's culture, wits beliefs, and traditions. It is said that life always moves around various adventurous things that motivate us to go for such things repeatedly.

Similarly, some days ago our department had decided to make a picnic tour to travel from Turbat to Gwadar.

It is said that University life is one of the memorable events that no one forgets very quickly.

After seeking approval from the VC of Turbat University for a picnic to Gwadar. The included participants from the department of English re (Master 3rd semester students, BS 3rd semester students, and BS 7th semester) and faculty members also accompanied us in adventure.

In 2020, at 10 o'clock, another ring, we started our journey from Turbat to Gwadar by bus. The bus was filled with students and the trip was filled with entertainment and amusements. While we were on the way, the students danced, clapped, and yelled constantly on a journey and the sound of the music was loud and crazy that provoke the students to dance carelessly.

We passed the Kech city, our journey started toward our destination. I was thinking about the Gwaderi people and the weather as well. I was remembering my college life where I had spent two years. But it is now a very long time since I have gotten admission to Turbat University.

It is said that sometimes memories occupying our life are impossible to forget easily. After one year, once again I would be going back to Gwadar to enjoy and to change the mood as well.

The bus was occupied with the loud voices of the students and everyone was looking happy. I was too excited about this circle because student life is one of the memorable events that are to be remembered in life.  Gwadar and Turbat are too famous for two things as Gwadar is for “Gwaderi Halwah" and Turbat for “Dates" as (Balochi called Naah).

Around the road, there are numerous areas, jungles heck Posts of Army, FC, and police forces.

When we reached at Talaar Army check post, here we waited for at least 10 minutes for entry. Due to a lot of vehicles, we have to wait to register our identification.

After the entry, we started our trip, the surrounding toads were occupied with mountains and attractive scenery.

When we reached ate check post of Zero point, where two ways spread one leads to lift side to Pasni, a prominent coastal area of Balochistan and the second way moves to straight to Gwadar.

The students were too much happy and danced on the bus and listened to the music.

After that, we approached Sur Bandar, the nearest area to Gwadar.  Here is a beautiful mountain which was appearing around of the village and some students took pictures and started taking videos of this beautiful hill.

When we reached the Check Posts of Dhor Ghatty, here the Army forces checked our identity cards and permitted us to enter the city of Gwadar. Nowadays, Gwadar is considered the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

On the way, some students were peeping through the windows of the bus to see the surrounding of it.

While we were on the way, Nusrat (classmate) was describing Gwadar to those students who were going at theorist time.

When we entered the Main Road of Gwadar, I was remembering my past days because I usually passed on this way when I was reading at College.

After that, we took the left side of the d which is called" Padi Zirr". Where the sea is situated with its attractive scenery.

Where a beautiful color spread during the sunset around the sky.

If a Literary person appears in this moment, he/she will be more be attractive by nature where the birds fly with their chirping voices.

So that, we directly went to Gwadar Mountain where the Pak Navy checked our identity cards. After the permission, we reached the mountain, where also the beach is surrounded by its beautiful waves.

Apart from this, here is a famous Official Hotel which is called “PC Gwadar Hotel. We visited the beach enjoyably and took gazillion pictures.  After that, we came to the Gwadar Cricket Stadium which has launched recently. The stadium was built beautifully and situated beside the mountain here the international and national players come for visiting as well.

Where the students and teachers rambled and took pictures and de videos.

After testing here, we moved to the Gwadar Campus of Turbat University. The University of Gwadar is built near the Boys Degree  College where I had passed two years  When I entered the  Campus, I remembered my college life where I had appeared regularly.

After doing Intermediate, some teachers have also transferred themselves to Atta Shad Degree College. Here, passed, took lunch on one Campus. The University consists of four departments: Education department, Commerce, Science Computer, and BBA and the students who appear there belong to the nearest area of Gwadar like Pishukan, Ganz, Jewaani, Pasni, Kappa, and other places.

The day we went, the University was off, there was not a single student because it was Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday, the whole Universities of Pakistan get closed. The students enjoyed themselves d took pictures. It was a memorable event that I never forget in my life.

After doing dinner, we start our journey to the "Padi Zirr" beachside which is situated around Bakshi Colony, an area of Gwadar. Here, we parked our University bus around the road.

The surrounding of " Padi Zirr", here is a popular hotel as well as known " Bakshi Hotel". Besides this, there is also a beach hotel where we have taken tea and enjoyed it a lot. The road which passes near the sea, which is constructed newly and here mostly, become rush and visitors appear to seek enjoyment. On the left side, where the Governor House is situated and a park too. On the southern part, the Gwadar Development Authority ( GDA) office and the GDA park are situated.

On the other side, there is also a Beach Library which is established near the sea if someone sits here to read books, he or she, becomes close he nature. Where the various birds fly around and fresh air flows.

It was the evening time. I have remembered my past days when I always came to observe nature and see the birds which always appeared around the beach with their attractive voices whenever I became alone. At this moment, I did not wish to go to Kech, but I have to go there my study was still going on at the University of Turbat.

After wandering around the beach, then we started our journey to move towards Turbat. Because it was the time of 6: pm we have to reach in Turbat as soon as possible.

When the bus was moving on the way, I was peeping through the window to see this city. Whenever I get a holiday, I always try to go to Gwadar at least once or twice times in a year. We have reached Turbat around 9 o'clock at the Public library where the student’s relatives also approached to take their brothers and sisters to drop them at their houses.  It was a pleasant and memorable journey that I have never forgotten in my life.

It is said that once the Tim bye goes, it never comes back. We have to pass our lives with enjoyment and entertainment by traveling to somewhere to change the mood and make it better to function.
