Child Labor in Pakistan

As a matter of fact, child Labor is on the rise as Pakistan is among the top ten countries but unfortunately is suffering from the issue of child labor. Approximately, above 40 million children in 5-15 years’ age in Pakistan and 50% of these economically active children are of 5-9 years.

Similarly, child labor deprives a child of basic rights education. Child labor makes the child completely victim to do robbery in order to satisfy their desires. It's painful to see the children who are working as a labor in their school-going age for the survival of their families and fulfill basic necessities.

I would like to request the concerned authorities and government to provide the basic rights to these children and should assist them to gain an education.
