The government
of Pakistan has imposed a 10 percent super tax on large-scale industries, such as
cement, steel, and automobiles which increases inflation in the country. it also
declines the value of the rupee against the dollar.
This will
cause an increase in the prices of petroleum and other materials. The imposition of
this tax is a burden on the poor class in society. Certain sudden price hikes
and the Imposition of taxes will do nothing special but compel the masses to carry
out protests and sit-ins.
The government,
imposing a tax on large-scale industries, has also imposed a 4 percent tax on those
industries whose income is 150 million rupees or above 150 million rupees which
will negatively affect the economy to a greater level.
The government
of Pakistan is requested to reconsider its current decisions and withdraw the
recently imposed taxes.
