'The
prophet" is such an interesting book by Khalil Gibran which draws the
attention of its readers. It has 26 Fascinating chapters which are
extremely advantageous for our daily life. It talks about different complexions
of life which are necessary for every individual. First of all, the writer has
elaborated the love in a beautiful manner which is present in the 2nd chapter.
Besides this, I like the 8th chapter where you comprehend the significance of
sorrow and happiness in life. Not only this, but the writer has also
articulated the importance of work. Thus, these are the topics due to that I
like about this book.
The Prophet has narrated the "
Love " attractively.
The most beautiful words that I find are these when you love, you should not say " God is in my heart" but rather " I am in the hearth of God". To its opinion, love means completely surrender where someone ought to abandon his/her all ego and perceptions. It suggests that to love your partner and help them to fulfill their spiritual desires.
The Prophet has defined the
importance of sorrows and happiness wonderfully. The writer says that sorrows
are too much necessary in our life. According to him, only at that time we can
enjoy and comprehend happiness when we confront sorrows. Sufferings and sorrow
compel us for thinking which becomes the reason for building great
personalities. Therefore, sorrows and pains are mandatory for everyone for
growing in their life.
The writer also emphasizes working in
this book. He states that working is an integral part of our life and we ought
to work at any cost. If you love your work, then it means you love your life.
It is common knowledge that someone can't live a prosperous life without work.
It is the way that assists people to acquire triumph. Therefore, this book
states to love your work.
As we know this is a book that talks about
different aspects of life, like love, work, joy, and happiness, therefore it is
one of the beneficial books.
