Pakistan is one of the Islamic countries where tea is a common drink as an average person drinks three cups of tea in a day. According to a report, the tea imports witnessed an increase of 2.21% during the first four months of the current fiscal year as compared to the corresponding month of last year.

The tea imports from July-October (2022-23) were recorded at $192.474 million against the imports of $188.304 million from July-October (2021-22), according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

This shows that Pakistan imports more than it exports due to which it is having a negative balance by which it has to take loan from other countries by which she can face problems and this can throw Pakistan backward. I would like to request the finance minister to maintain the economy of Pakistan to develop it.
