Shane
Keith Warne was born on 13 September 1969 at upper Ferntree Gully in Australia.
His father’s name was Keith Warne. Shane Warne was an Australian cricketer who
was the captain of the Australia National Team in one day international. However,
he has been considered one of the greatest bowlers in cricket history as well
as he was named one of the Wisden cricketers of the year in 1994. Shane Warne’s
nickname was Warney and his height was 6 feet.
He
was a right-handed batsman as well as a right-armed bowler. His shirt number
was 23. Furthermore, Shane Warne announced his retirement on 21 December 2006. He
was a brilliant player and in his cricket career, he made 315 runs in a test
match, and in ODI (One day international) he made 1018 runs and in T20 210
runs.
In
addition, he took 708 wickets in a test match, 293 wickets in ODI, and 70
wickets in T20 international. He took 125 catches in Test, 80
catches in ODI, and 18 catches in T20 international. His complete matches were
145 from 1992 to 2007. Shane Warne was affected by a heart attack and finally, he
left the world at the age of 52 on 4th March 2022, at Koh Samui, Thailand.
