Most people don't want to accept themselves, they
try to escape from themselves, but that endeavor will always finish
with failure.
WHY DON’T WE WANT TO ACCEPT OURSELVES?
We don’t want to accept who we are because we think that we
are better, and we do anything that we could believe in that lie.
This is a lie that cost very expensive, this lie can cost us wrong and
meaningless life.
ACCEPTING YOURSELF.
It sounds easy and simple but it is not. We have real SELF
and ideal SELF, the difference between these two makes us sad and anxious,
so we choose to escape from ourselves. We escape to trivial things,
routines, habits, and social circles, just to avoid facing the truth.
Facing who we are. Facing and accepting who we are. While our life is
just a journey to accept ourselves
WHAT BOTHERS YOU THE MOST?
Ask yourself openly, be honest, be brave and go all the way.
Is there any trait of your personality that you would like to change
or improve? If you can change that is fine, but if you can’t just accept
that as you can accept the color of your eyes, the color of your hair,
accept that is something normal. Acceptance is not fighting with something
but understanding. Acceptance is a way to relieve your pressure about
something, and nothing can give you inner peace as acceptance.
ACCEPTANCE IS AN ACTIVE PROCESS.
accepting is not passive, that is an active process, in
which you understand yourself. When you accept yourself, you end
many inner battles, frustrations, worries, and doubts. Acceptance is
accepting reality. Reality is what it is, not what we would like to be. Acceptance
is accepting your current self, not fighting with yourself, but having
inner peace, and starting openly to work on improvement of your personality
if it is good for us. Don’t escape from yourself, accept yourself.
